Description
n the poetry collection “Corpus vile,” Artur Kamaroŭski explores the connections between corporeality, gender, sexuality, language, and the motherland. The author seeks answers to how these concepts intertwine and what emerges at their intersection.
“The first cycle is a conversation about my body and my relationship with it. The further I travel, the more I move away from my own body. There are various relationships with some other body, an abstract one. After that, a specific body appears — my partner. Then, a multitude of other bodies. It is an experiment, a journey in which I try to make sense of physicality, sexuality, and language as well.”
Selected poems by the author have been published in the magazines “Dziejasłoŭ,” “Maładość,” and on the “Taŭbin” platform.
