Description

The debut book by Illia Kuĺbicki includes poems and long poems written between 2017 and 2024. These texts of various genres — from chronicles of social events and nature sketches to satire, myth-making, and urban fantasy — are united by a single goal: to find a path through the surrounding and inner void toward the true world. This is a path of language and faith, an attempt to perceive and achieve the unprecedented while keenly listening to the voices of fellow travelers.

Illia Kuĺbicki was born in Minsk in 1982. He graduated from the Belarusian State University with a degree in Computer Science. He is a winner and laureate of the “One Poem Festival.” His works have been published in the “Literary Belarus” newspaper and the online magazine “Taubin.” He lives in Warsaw.
