The book was created with the aim of visualizing and bringing to life Belarusian mythological characters who are often insufficiently represented in modern culture.

Belarusian author Taciana Van Den Brynk sought to show that these spirits are not frightening, but are part of our history and were “always close.”

Artist Volha Miłovič used a distinctive style that combines traditional Belarusian symbols and patterns with contemporary graphics, which makes the images of the spirits very original and memorable.
