This is how the adventures of Shprot the cat and the boy Aleś in the Minsk Park Čaliuskincaŭ begin, and their friendship with their neighbours—ghosts, sparrows, and mice—is formed. The book’s protagonists rescue friends who have fallen into a mysterious trap and learn to cope with adversity together.
