And why, finally, did a witcher, who longed to sacrifice only himself to destiny, accept sacrifices he had no right to? Perhaps because “life differs from a bank in that the former knows debts that are paid by a debt to others.”

The saga of Andžej Sapkoŭski about the Witcher Geralt is one of the best examples of fantasy literature. Its heroes have long since become cult characters among readers all over the world.
