The guide also explains the principles of creating feminitives inherent to the Belarusian language.

    Uladzislaŭ Harbacki is a political scientist specializing in gender studies, a sociolinguist, a translator from French, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian, and a lecturer in political science at EHU (Vilnius). He is the author of the monograph “Feminization of the Belarusian Language: A Sociolinguistic Study” (Vilnius, 2019; London, 2024).
