Description
Lee Harvey Oswald (1939–1963) is one of the most mysterious and controversial figures in 20th-century history, known as the sole official suspect in the assassination of the 35th US President John F. Kennedy.
This book is a mosaic of declassified KGB Belarus archives, Warren Commission reports, rare photographs, and memories of people who knew Oswald personally.
A quest (from Lat. quaerere — to seek) is a long search for something that is difficult to find or achieve, such as happiness or truth. Lee Harvey Oswald’s time and space in Minsk are revealed through a collection of KGB Belarus documents and the US Warren Commission reports, memories of friends and his wife, as well as through variations in literature, gaming, and even lepidopterology.
The publication includes illustrations based on materials from the US National Archives, the archive of the President’s Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy (USA), the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, Radio Liberty, open public sources, and author’s photographs.
