Year 2028. Eleven-year-old Palina lives in a small town near a nature reserve, and she is occupied by three important questions:

1. Why did the wolves suddenly start coming out of the forest and attacking people?

2. Where did the strange autonomous neuro-drone that landed on her roof come from?

3. And most importantly: what happened to her father, who disappeared in the jungle while rescuing animals from poachers?

In search of answers, Palina will have to uncover a terrible crime and learn an incredible truth that will break her heart but also open up a wondrous world.

Warning! The book contains scenes of animal cruelty, and some characters die. Good will, of course, prevail, but it’s important to consider whether you, the reader, are ready to undergo these trials along with the heroes.
